My sudden unusual love for all things cake and baking introduced me to the world of blogging. Bakes by ChiChi was created to share recipes I made and share tips about cake decorating i have learned. It has evolved into so much more within a short time, which I am so thankful for. As a self taught baker, I love trying out new recipes, creating desserts and also decorating cakes. My recipes are simple and delicious. Every so often there might be a slightly complicated one thrown in, because I love to push myself. I also love food with lots of spice and flavour. My kitchen is my laboratory. Sometimes my experiments work and sometimes they fail epically.

Originally, I am from Ghana in West Africa. I live and work in London, Uk . I am a mum of two teens. I am a recovering shopaholic and shoeholic, thanks to blogging. My love for music and dancing comes naturally from my parents. Afrobeats is one of my favorite genre of music.
Cake making started for me about years ago. After rave reviews from friends and family what started as simply a hobby as evolved into career.I am my harshest critique and a self acknowledged rebel. I always love to push boundaries. I love to share photos of cakes and desserts I have made for clients, my blog , friends and family on Instagram.
When I am not baking, I love to chill out with family. My favourite tipple is Strawberry and lime cider (Rekordelig or Kopperberg) .
